Did you know that you can still get a qualified health insurance plan for 2022? 

Open Enrollment in Colorado has been extended in light of some recent events. There are three ways to qualify for a special enrollment, and to get health insurance for 2022:  

•  Disaster Relief Special Enrollment Period: If you have been impacted by Colorado wildfires, including The Marshall Fire.

• Covid 19: If you have been affected by the recent surge of the Omicron variant or the Covid 19 pandemic.

• Income: If you have filed your Colorado tax return and indicated that you and/or your family qualify for free or low-cost health insurance. 

The special enrollment period runs through Mar 16, 2022, and is open to all uninsured Coloradoans. 

In addition to these three conditions, you can still qualify for health insurance in 2022 if you have a life changing event. Examples of life changing events include moving, getting married, having a baby, or losing a job that provided health insurance benefits. The special enrollment period is 60 days after your life changing event.
